Biography
Shawn M. Cunningham devotes his practice to representing clients who have been seriously injured through no fault of their own or who have lost loved ones due to the wrongful conduct or negligence of others. Mr. Cunningham's extensive trial experience led to his election to the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates, where he serves on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix area. Mr. Cunningham made Phoenix, Arizona his home in 1986 after receiving his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, cum laude, from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Cunningham obtained his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in 1989 from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
Mr. Cunningham is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a professional organization that recognizes the accomplishments of lawyers who have won million dollar and multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients. With his decades of experience, Mr. Cunningham enjoys the highest peer review rating of AV from LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, and has been consistently recognized as a premier trial lawyer. Mr. Cunningham is a frequent presenter at seminars. He lives in the Phoenix area and is active in several professional and civic organizations. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking and golf.
